What and who is affected by this issue/request? Myself
Where on the platform does it happen? On Facebook Marketplace, when trying to change the location of the map to do a search in a different area, it will no longer bring up the keyboard to let me type in a new location. The window just pops back down to the previous page.
How do we replicate the issue?
Go into FB Marketplace and try to change your location to search in a different area.

They keyboard won’t come up and the window will just pop back to the previous page.
The problem you describe sounds like technical difficulties on your phone (I guess) between the FB app and you phone keyboard.
If my assessment is right I’m sorry to say that this is not the right place to adress this problem.
Might I suggest a reboot of your machine (phone, computer,…). If this doesn’t help try wiping the app and reinstalling it. But since I’m just someone on an unrelated forum I can’t be held responsible for any of the actions you take.
Although Facebook uses OSM data to create their background maps, their application functionality (or lack of it) and most of the “places” you see on their maps are entirely down to them.
You will need to contact Facebook about it to try and get it fixed. Good luck with that.
