First, I’m not a marine person, so I have no idea which words to use.
So my question. How would I map these boat parking spaces. There is clearly a (fixed) pier and boats have a designated parking area along these. In this case, each boat even has it’s own parking space.
How would I map that boats are supposed to be parked there?
On the subject, how dose one map a vending machine for mooring tickets? vending=parking_tickets and boat=only?
But don’t these apply to the pier instead of the water area?
Generally I find it easier to tie my boat up to the pier rather than to the water but Y(nautical)MMV.
You could also tag the entire area as Tag:leisure=marina - OpenStreetMap Wiki
yes, I believe mooring= would be used on the pier (if I understand the wiki correctly)
for the spaces, you could maybe follow the parking space example, and use amenity=mooring_space? (following ATYL)
