Jeez. Gosh. You accuse people of misinterpreting the meaning of a common word, just because you wanted the tag to mean something else?
Let’s please agree that tags using a common English word should denote a common understanding of its meaning, or at least something very close to it? Because by the time you educate every mapper that highway=cycleway is not, erm, a cycleway you will have an utter mess in the database and the renderers.
