The StreetComplete highlights the whole way and asks a question specifically about that whole way (or area or whatever is highlighted). It is assumed that if the answer is not presented in the short list, that the user will select Other answers and look there.

e.g. in English it might be something like “Is this street lit all the way?” - if you think it is confusing in general and needs clarification, you can add an entry in StreetComplete FAQ on the OSM wiki

In my opinion (if I understand Discourse auto-translation correctly), asking the same confirmation followup quest after every way-related quest would be a bad UI. Does iD or any other editor ask if you want to change the tags for whole way, or just a part of it? If not, then why should StreetComplete do so?
