I am trying to unhide real route names, including making them searchable without search engines being spammed, by moving route relations to name is the name only like other elements in OSM. This is more important than the my original proposal of the description tag and I am willing to discuss alternatives. As my objective is to get constructed names out of the database I am trying to build community support.
