In the last days I noticed that the OSM wiki was really slow. While I always just thought “okay my ISP is just really bad” I now did a globalping test: Globalping - Internet and web infrastructure monitoring and benchmarking which returned that every node timeouted after 10s.
Did anybody else notice this issue?
I’m finding the test version works better for me for reading https://test.wiki.openstreetmap.org/
Thank you for the notice that there is an upgrade going on! Yeah for me only the test version works so I’ll just use that then, thx!
Yes, see https://uptime.openstreetmap.org/
Unfortunately, it is not readable either, it just times out (e.g. https://downforeveryoneorjustme.com/wiki.openstreetmap.org)
It is known problem: OpenStreetMap Ops Team: "The #OpenStreetMap Wiki wiki.openstreetmap.org is…" - OSM Town | Mapstodon for OpenStreetMap

Thanks! that one works!
There have also been some bouts of slowness over the past few days, but it’s unrelated to the upgrade, probably the work of abusive scrapers again.
Misposted 2 test requests for wiki pages in an old thread that remain inaccessible to me. One was already tested by @whb having the same.
