If you’re seeing an updated tile from somewhere but I and TrickyFoxy are not, then that suggests that the tile dirty process isn’t the culprit here, but the CDN perhaps is (although I have no actual knowledge of how that is set up).

For completeness, the DNS that I’m currently using via BT residential broadband in the UK shows tile.osm.org as:

Name:    dualstack.n.sni.global.fastly.net
Addresses:  2a04:4e42:f::347
          146.75.73.91
Aliases:  tile.openstreetmap.org

Everything at my end supports ipv6 so I’d expect the ipv6 address is the one used.
