idea is quite obvious, writing code properly solving this is a bit trickier
AFAIK noone is against this idea, just that code is not existing yet
I am pretty sure you cannot create a Wikipedia account without a working email (you can sign in with general Wikimedia account but you need an email to create it)
maybe in past it was different
